Need storage ideas for my spices in my new kitchen. I have pantry & cabinets. tons of spices?
I love to cook especially new recipes from www.recipezaar.com so I have lots of spices in different size containers. any inexpensive ideas for storage containers in the pantry too thanks!!! diane check out the website!!
My wife has two storage items for her spices. One is a wall mounted spice cabinet and the other is a covered box about 16" square with a hinged lid.
It sets on the island right next to the cooktop. She keeps her most used spices and seasonings there where they are readily available. She calls it her "goody" box. It is painted and distressed so she doesn't have to worry about it getting dinged or having stuff splashed or dripped on it.
how to buy discontinued bathroom storage cabinets?
try a salvage yard. House demo company's will sometime have some they took out. Run a add in the paper someone may have some just sitting around
creative ideas to decorate a small bathroom?
I have a very small bathroom. It has no windows. There is only a sink (with no cabinet or storage underneath, just open and ugly), a toilet and a bathtub/shower. I can't really put anything perm. on the walls. The walls are bright white and their is only really one wall about 4 feet wide that could be decorated since the other walls are taken up by the door, bath, toilet and sink. The floor is grey and white, everything else is just white. I have a small medicine cabinet with the little sliding mirror doors. The door is normal, boring, ugly brown wood. Please help:( Color schemes, storage, etc….
You could create storage under the sink by making a skirt that goes around the sink. http://ww4.bhg.com/bhg/story.jhtml?storyid=/templatedata/bhg/story/data/13356.xml
You could create your color scheme with the skirt and the shower curtain, then accessorize in that scheme.
A nice framed print on the wall reflecting the colors would be nice as well; you don't want a lot of clutter, which would make the bathroom seem smaller. If the print is something with depth, i.e. an outdoor scene, it would give you sense of light and less claustrophobia.
Here's some more good ideas:
