kitchen layout…what’s the word for… cannot remember, help?
Ok, so I’ll try to explain this as best I can. I was watching HGTV and they remodeled a kitchen. The lay out of the room reminded me of the kitchen of the house i grew up in, but it was much smaller. The room it self is kind of an L shape well more like upside down "L", so I guess kind of like a 7 but facing in the other direction (i guess you could say it’s a little hall and you turn to the right and the actual stove and sink plus more cabinets are there, i hope you get what i’m trying to say) anyway since the kitchen on tv was really small the designers wanted to add more storage space so they built a row of cabinets and drawers/bottom cabinets along the little "hall" for extra storage and they called this area something specific. They said we added a "___". It had a name, it wasn’t simply "we added some cabinets"; does anyone know what i’m talking about? I can’t find a picture of this style kitchen online, but in this pic, just pretend there are more cabinets along the wall (this would be the first thing you would see upon entering the kitchen) and at the end instead of that wall being there you would make a left and the stove, sink, and more cabinets would be there. I know this is probably a long shot, but i figured I’d try anyway, I just cannot remember what she called it, but I know i would recognize the word. I tried describing it to a friend but all she could come up with is a buffet, but it’s not that.

Sorry if i confused you! : )
Wouldn’t that row of cabinets in the hall be called a "Butler cabinet" or a "SideBoard cabinet"
A breakfast nook? Or a hutch?
