Okay we are renovating our kitchen the dimensions of the kitchen is like 13 x 15. Almost 2 full walls are going to have base cabinets and then 1 1/2 walls are going to have upper cabinets. There is also going to be a large pantry. Do you think this is enough storage space and what not for potential buyers down the road. Another thing, we have an additional wall that we were going to attach a nice big island to or do you think we should instead put cabinets with counter top on that wall. What would you prefer if you were buying a home, nice big island or additional cabinets?

ps. how much cabinetry do you have in your current and if you were buying what would you look for in a kitchen?

The house I live in now is my first house and I have absolutely no cabinet space. I think putting lots of cabinets is a good idea and the whole island cabinet I think is a good idea, but if you could put the island with storage space underneath, I think that would be great.
Space is a huge thing I would look for. Another would be that is was an open area. I can’t work in the kitchen when there is something in my way.
