Tiny kitchen in apartment?
I moved from a smaller to a larger apartment, and had to sacrifice lots of storage space in the kitchen in my small apartment, for an overall larger apartment. I have barely any room for anything, and have no idea where to start to try to help. My kitchen and dining room look like a disaster because I have no room; cabinet or counter space. What are some things I can do to help utilize the space more?
Ok, I love this question. Buy a bakers rack…try overstock.com or similar, they are like big metal racks that hold everything, and will often fold down for when you next move. They can be pretty too, so you could have it in your living/dining area if the kitchen is too small. Also try buying a butchers block on wheels, or hostess cart. this will give you extra storage and more counter space, plus it can be wheeled around for convinience or stored. Try those hanging racks for pots and pans. Buy cheap shelves from ikea for plates and glasswear……have fun with it……throw out or store stuff you rarely use to avoid clutter. good luck, sounds like a fun project!
