I don't understand why you feel you would have to replace your kitchen cabinets if you replace your bathroom vanity. They are two different rooms and the cabinetry should not match. I think if you look around at your local hardware stores, you will find a suitable vanity (possibly with a top) for a very inexpensive price. I found a great one for two hundred...with cabinet, top and sink. Just shop for deals and you can have your new floor and a new vanity. You can find a mirror in Walmart for next to nothing and create your own piece of artwork from pictures of family, friends or nature you have taken.
References :
how old is your cabinet. what kinda shape is it in. what kinda budget are u allowing yrself for this 'remodel' ? are u replacing the sink, faucet and medicine cab/mirror as well as the hardware and countertop? if your going that way i think replacing the cab w/a matching medicine chest would look best.
since this is a seperate closed off room it really doesn't matter if it matches the kitchen cabinets or not.
good luck
