This being your first offense could have an effect on whether the judge gives you the maximum sentence. Any judge who would give you probation is being very, very lenient and that kind a favorable treatment is less and less likely these days. The reason I say that is that you never admitted to being sorry for what you had done and I bet you didn't apologize to the people you did this to and ask if you could try and make it right with them did you?
