Start cleaning. Get some cheap storage boxes and label them, but un-needed or un-wanted stuff in them and they can go under your bed or in a cupboard. If your parents will allow, you could get your room painted. A simple coat of paint can make a massive difference. Or even just getting a feature wall (eg: one wall painted pink or blue or red etc..) Posters can also liven up the walls. Try getting a few canvas's from a cheap shop (they are only a few dollars) and let your imagination go wild. If your parents will not cooperate, talk to neighbors to see who is planning one, and box up your stuff and take it over there. Be prepared to stay with your stuff ALL DAY while they are running it. Help out with their stuff, too, not just your stuff. They may be planning to send any left-overs to Goodwill when it's over. If this is not cool with you, you will have to box your leftovers up and bring them back home. As for cute - first clean up and see what you have to work with. I like huge collages of pictures and images all over one wall. Leave out the pigs and stick with anime.
