Find a yahoo freecycle group for your county and give the shitaway. Lots of people r in situations glad to recieve!!!

Make a call to any of the non-profit groups who run thrift shops in your area, such as the Society of St Vincent DePaul, Purple Heart Veterans, Salvation Army, etc. Ask if they will send out a truck on a given day to take away a houseful of used furniture. They take it all away along with anything else you’re done using (like old clothes, boots, etc…even old cars) and give you a receipt. Next year you have a nice tax deduction and a clean house. Works well and you don’t have any hard work to do to get it out of the house!

I fits metal take it to the dump, most of them don't charge for metal, actually there selling it for scrap, they love making money. everything else just burn it if you can, just be sure to get a permit first , burning permits are free in N.C.

Join FREECYLE. People will come and pick it up and take it away for you and be happy to do it. Go to http://www.Freecycle.org and look for a group in your area. You’d be surprised what people are willing to take off your hands!

It’s completely free and you can give and get just about anything. I gave away a my Mitsibushi Galant and I picked up a dishwasher and a spiral staircase. All free!

Drag them outside put a price tag on them and someone will steal them. lol

This was advice from a neighbor when I put things out with a Free sign. All my stuff was gone in two days. *yes I put free on them*

I would consider finding a place to give it away or donate it. You can go to http://www.Craigslist.com and post it to either sell it for a nominal fee or post it in the free area. There are a lot of folks that just want to get rid of something without having to go to the trouble or the expense of going to the dump. Depending on the condition of some of the items you could donate to habitat for humanity or another charity. If you donate it is tax deductibible.

There might be some items that are of no use to you but, could be of use to someone who has nothing.
